Report: Missouri Qb Beau Pribula Entering Portal
- Multiple reports Thursday said Beau Pribula, Missouri quarterback and redshirt junior, will enter the NCAA transfer portal in January after starting 10 games this year with one year eligibility left.
- After Drew Allar announced his return, Beau Pribula left Penn State to seek a starting role, entering the portal last December and choosing Missouri a week later.
- Statistically, Pribula completed 67.4% of his passes this season while providing rushing scores; he dislocated his ankle on Oct. 25 at Vanderbilt, missed two games, and returned three weeks later, Missouri head coach Eli Drinkwitz said.
- Missouri named Matt Zollers the Gator Bowl starter as Pribula prepares to enter the portal; he will not play on Dec. 27, opening the quarterback room and drawing power conference interest.
- When the portal opens in January, Pribula is expected to enter with one year of eligibility remaining and will likely attract interest from Penn State and other programs.
