Report: Bucks again open to trade offers for Giannis Antetokounmpo
The Milwaukee Bucks are officially open to hearing trade offers for two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, ESPN's Shams Charania reported Monday.
Tensions between the organization and Antetokounmpo grew after the team sidelined him late in the season, prompting him to tell reporters it felt like "a slap in my face" to be held out.
Co-Owner Jimmy Haslam stated last week the team will resolve the situation before the 2026 NBA Draft on June 23-24, saying "we understand the gravity of that call."
A robust market is expected for the 10-time All-Star, with postseason teams including the Los Angeles Lakers, Minnesota Timberwolves, Boston Celtics, and New York Knicks showing interest, sources told Charania.
Over 13 seasons, the future Hall of Famer averaged 24.1 points and 9.9 rebounds, leading Milwaukee to its first championship in 50 years in 2021, though he recently played a career-low 36 games battling injuries.
