While governments worldwide are investing billions in so-called green energy, a new report shows that much of that money is literally going up in smoke. According to the Biomass Action Network, which published its findings in collaboration with the Clean Air Committee, nearly $250 billion in subsidies has been spent globally on burning woody biomass.
