Renfrew County council goes over 2026 budget

The mayors and reeves of Renfrew County went through that upper-tier level of government’s 2026 budget with a fine-tooth comb this week. County council held its budget workshop Thursday, Jan. 29 where the members were presented with a draft budget containing a proposed 7.9 percent levy increase.
