East Central nipped Batesville 1-0 in varsity baseball at Lawrenceburg on Monday afternoon as part of the Reds Futures High School Showcase. Brayeden Reis’ RBI single in the bottom the 7th inning provided the game’s only run and lifted the Trojans to the win. Reis went 1-for-4 at the plate, including the game-winning hit.
