Registration of Residence in Göttingen Also Possible Online From June

Anyone new to Göttingen or simply moving within the city can register or change their address online starting Sunday, June 1, 2025. This can be done conveniently from anywhere and without an appointment. Until now, this required a visit to the New Town Hall. The corresponding link for "residence registration" will be available on the city's service portal starting June 1. Other administrative services are already available online there.
