The Minister of Higher Education wishes to apply strictly the differentiated enrolment fees for extra-Community students in order to strengthen the attractiveness of the university system
The majority of extra-Community students will be required to pay a licence fee of €2,895 per year, compared with €178 today, and €3,941 in Master's, compared to €254.
2 895 € per year of license, 3 941 € in master's degree... The higher registration fees at the university, as made possible in the law since 2019, will be for all extra-community students without specific exemptions, announced the Minister of Higher Education this Monday.
Philippe Baptiste, the Minister of Higher Education, demands that extra-community students finally pay more registration fees, which is what some academic actors are worried about.
In an interview with the Parisien posted on Monday, April 20, the Minister of Higher Education said he wanted to enforce strictly the differentiated registration fees for students outside the French universities. Established in 2019, they were so far not effective.
