Reform UK would reimpose two-child benefit cap

- Labour Party immediately said Jenrick's announcement is "shameful" and warned Reform "wants to push hundreds of thousands of children into poverty," while government analysis estimated 450,000 fewer children in relative poverty by 2029-30.
- Strategically, Reform UK has recruited former Conservative MPs Suella Braverman and Andrew Rosindell while dropping costly policies to reassure voters and financial markets, drawing a divide with Labour.
