MASON, Ohio – The RedHawks fell just short of the Cincinnati Bearcats in the Joe Nuxhall Classic Wednesday, losing 8-7 after a scoreless ninth inning. Ryan Novak led the RedHawks in RBIs with three, including a two-run homer in the fifth. Miami falls to 20-11 (10-5 MAC) with the loss while Cincinnati moves to 22-13 (10-5 MAC).
