Red Dirt Hill construction to pause for holiday, other updates

The Colorado Department of Transportation’s U.S. Highway 40 Red Dirt Hill construction project will pause July 3-4 before resuming on Monday, July 7. From July 7-11, construction crews will continue with general excavation, subgrade preparation and base course work. This is in preparation for westbound U.S. 40 widening.
