The Institute of Anthropological Research of Olavarría opened on April 4, 1970 under the wing of the Ethnographic Museum “Dámaso Arce” and following the global trend of the main museums, the MEDA (Museo Etnográfico “Dámaso Arce”) opened its research area to nourish its archaeological and anthropological exhibitions.
