BY CYBERNEWS ARECIBO – Authorities rescued three people Sunday morning who were swept away by currents near the Cave of Swallows in the Islote neighborhood of Arecibo. According to the police report, a call to the 911 Emergency System alerted police about several people who had been swept away by the currents. Officers Ángel De Río, José Rosa, Sergio Bruno, and Juan Santiago, assigned to the Maritime Unit, arrived at the scene.

Arecibo – Three men were drowned this Sunday after being dragged by the currents near the Cueva del Indio, in Arecibo, according to the authorities. According to preliminary information, the deceased were relatives and were dragged by the currents in the area. Authorities managed to recover the bodies. Authorities have already recovered the bodies. These were identified as 50-year-old Cristóbal Vargas Delgado, 49-year-old Julio Soto Cruz and 58-year-old Gerardo Cortes Irizarry.
