Last week's intense heat wave in Serbia culminated on Saturday, July 26. At half of the 28 main meteorological stations – from Smederevska Palanka to Negotin and Vranje – temperatures exceeded the fortieth degree Celsius mark that day, according to data from the Republic Hydrometeorological Service (RHMZ).
