Swiss waters have warmed up a lot because of the high heat. Over the past two weeks, the temperature of the lakes has increased five degrees on average, making it an absolute record according to the Meteonews weather service.

Swiss waters no longer offer cooling everywhere. Because of the heat some lakes are up to 28 degrees warm. The lakes would have warmed up to seven degrees more than usual, wrote the weather service Meteonenews.
