On Monday, there were 65 centimetres of snow on the ground, according to readings taken at CFB Trenton, a record for January 26. That number was 61 cm on Tuesday, January 27, also a record. Record set for snow on the ground in Quinte

Tuesday’s snowfall was intense at times and helped contribute to a new record for total winter impact in Quinte. Readings taken at CFB Trenton show that we received 9.4 cm of snow on Tuesday. That is far less than the record of 16.5 set on January 27th of 1967. It did help to set a new mark for total snow on the ground.
