In the new school year, a staggering 53 percent of students accepted into the first grades of high schools in Gorzów are from outside the city. Due to the overwhelming demand, new classes in high schools had to be opened on short notice. A significant housing problem also emerged – with a shortage of beds in boarding schools, officials are resorting to renting rooms in student dormitories.
