Record number of MPHS band members advance to UIL State Solo and Ensemble competition
A record 87 members of the Mount Pleasant High School Goin’ Gold Band earned 127 first division medals at the UIL Region IV Solo and Ensemble contest on Friday, February 28 at New Boston High School. This result shattered the previous record of 73 students and 103 medals in 2025.
