CROATIA is breaking tourism records with 90.5 million overnight stays, while August exceeded five million tourist arrivals for the first time in history.

In the first eight months of the year, Croatia was visited by 17.5 million tourists, who generated 90.5 million overnight stays, which is one percent more than in the same period last year. The number of arrivals was a record in July and August, and among the major markets, Slovenia also grew by approximately three percent. Tourism spending grew even more significantly.
"The results achieved in the first eight months confirm that interest in Croatia remains very strong," said Staničić.
