More than 130K Fireworks Recalled over Explosion Risk
Federal regulators said the recalled rockets can explode before reaching their intended height, and no injuries have been reported.
On Thursday, the Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a nationwide recall for about 132,440 Skull Strobe rockets imported by Jake Fireworks due to explosion risks.
World Class Fireworks devices can explode prematurely before reaching their intended height, creating extreme burn and explosion hazards for users and bystanders.
The affected products, sold for between $12 and $25 from March 2025 to June 2026, feature SKU code 1004351 printed near the bottom of the packaging.
Consumers should stop using the items immediately and return them to the original retail location or a Jake Fireworks store for a full refund.
To date, no injuries or incidents related to the defective products have been reported. For more information, call 855-587-8816 Monday through Friday.
