More than 200,000 Toddler Toys Sold on Amazon Recalled Amid Choking Hazard
The recall covers toys sold on Amazon for up to $30, and parents are told to remove the page with the red knobs.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a recall of 276,000 Esjay Toddler Busy Board Montessori Toys because detachable red knobs pose a choking hazard to children under three years old.
Sold on Amazon from March 2023 to July 2026 for between $18 and $30, the toys feature blue felt, carrying handles, five pages, and 26 alphabet squares paired with cartoon dinosaurs.
Shenzhen Yishijie Technology Ltd manufactured the items in China, while no injuries have been reported; Consumers should immediately remove the recalled toys from children and stop using them.
To receive a replacement Page, Consumers must unzip the Page with red knobs, write "RECALLED" on both sides, discard it, and email a photo to Esjay for a replacement.
Consumers can contact Esjay online or by email for more information about the recall and replacement process. The manufacturer is providing free replacement Pages for all affected units.
