More than 200,000 Toddler Toys Sold on Amazon Recalled Amid Choking Hazard
The recall covers toys sold on Amazon for up to $30, and parents are told to remove the page with the red knobs.
- The Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a recall of 276,000 Esjay Toddler Busy Board Montessori Toys because detachable red knobs pose a choking hazard to children under three years old.
- Sold on Amazon from March 2023 to July 2026 for between $18 and $30, the toys feature blue felt, carrying handles, five pages, and 26 alphabet squares paired with cartoon dinosaurs.
- Shenzhen Yishijie Technology Ltd manufactured the items in China, while no injuries have been reported; Consumers should immediately remove the recalled toys from children and stop using them.
- To receive a replacement Page, Consumers must unzip the Page with red knobs, write "RECALLED" on both sides, discard it, and email a photo to Esjay for a replacement.
