Rebecca Pierik – From Amsterdam to Benidorm

Originally from Amsterdam, Rebecca Pierik arrived in Spain almost by chance. She first came for just a few months during the financial crisis, at a time when selling her house in the Netherlands proved impossible. Recently divorced and having lost her job, she decided to take a holiday to figure out her next step in life. In 2014, she spent three months travelling through Suriname and Cuba. Source
