The Santiago Bernabeu stadium, home to the famous Spanish football club Real Madrid, will be transformed into a training ground for tennis players between April 23 and 30, according to media reports on the Iberian Peninsula. The Marca newspaper reports that tennis stars will warm up and practice at the stadium during the Madrid Open ATP 1000 tournament.
They will take their turn at the end of April, when the team will have three away games in a row.
According to the usual Spanish press of the Real Madrid football club will transform itself to accommodate the training of players and tennis players during the Madrid tournament scheduled from 23 to 30 April.
The upcoming tennis masters in Madrid, scheduled from April 20 to May 3, will partly use the "Bernabeu" stadium (formerly known as Santiago Bernabeu).
