Readers respond: Bad time to raise downtown parking fees

It is a bad time to raise parking prices in Portland, (“Largest parking meter hike in Portland history goes into effect,” July 3). Businesses are struggling, shoppers are fearful and parking spots downtown have become more difficult to navigate due to bike lanes and road construction.
