Missing Person: Salmo RCMP Seek Public Assistance in Locating Kayla Boisvert
Police say 28-year-old Kayla Boisvert was last seen around 10 p.m. at the festival and ask witnesses to call Salmo RCMP.
Salmo RCMP are searching for 28-year-old Kayla Boisvert, who was last seen at the Shambhala Music Festival on Monday, July 27 around 2:15 a.m. She was reported missing on July 28.
Boisvert is described as 6 ft tall with black hair, long blonde braids, and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a blue head scarf, oversize graphic T-shirt, and multicoloured scarves.
Anyone with information regarding Boisvert's whereabouts is urged to contact Salmo RCMP at 250-357-2212. The public assistance request comes as authorities work to locate the missing woman.
This is not the first time someone has gone missing from the Shambhala Music Festival in recent years. Harsha Paladugu disappeared in 2022, prompting a four-day search involving over 100 teams and RCMP helicopter assistance.
Authorities continue investigating the circumstances of Boisvert's disappearance, highlighting ongoing safety challenges at large-scale regional music festivals. The search remains active as RCMP seek public information.
