A Lyford police officer was on traffic patrol at 9:28 p.m. June 9 on northbound I69E when he spotted a black 2013 Chrysler in a posted 75 mph zone when he switched on his red and blue emergency lights, as well as the siren on his marked police cruiser’s siren, Lyford Police Chief Marcos Garcia said.
