- On Jan. 7 he was admitted to a Las Vegas hospital with pneumonia and heart pain, where doctors ordered an echocardiogram and X-rays; medical reports indicate he may have a low ejection fraction, defined by the Cleveland Clinic as the percentage of blood pumped each beat.
- Ray J acknowledged personal causes, saying he shouldn’t have went this hard with alcohol and drugs, and thanked sister Brandy for paying his bills this year and parents for arranging medical care.
