Ravenna Visser from Alblasserdam was only 24 years old when she suffered multiple cardiac arrests. The first time happened while she was in bed with her ex-boyfriend. Only later did she discover that she suffers from, among other things, the rare Long QT syndrome type 2, a hereditary heart condition that can cause her to experience heart rhythm irregularities when she is emotional or startled.
