Eddie Deane was taking photos at the nature reserve in Cley when he spotted the Yellow Wagtail bird in the grass.

Al Ain (Al Ittihad) Al Ain Zoo has recorded the presence of 123 species of birds, 68% of which are migratory birds that have made the zoo a safe rest stop and a unique natural environment due to its abundant biodiversity. The eagle is extremely rare. In Thuringia it rests at most times - about in spring during the migration. By chance an MDR camera team filmed it in 2024. The recordings are now officially registered.
