The prime suspect in the girl's death was killed in an alleged police encounter. A football match dispute also resulted in a teenage boy's killing. Baruipur Incident: Earlier, three people - Anand Sardar, Dibakar Sardar and Prabhas Mandal - were arrested in connection with the sexual assault and murder case. Among them, Prabhas Mandal died in an encounter.
