Rangeland should continue as conservation priority

Rangeland will likely continue to have at least a 50 percent priority for conservation funds in the aftermath of the 2026 Local Work Group meeting held March 5 at the Hereford Civic Center. The Local Work Group session was hosted by the Natural Resources Conservation Service and Tierra Blanca Soil and Water Conservation District as a means for interested parties to recommend conservation funding priorities for Fiscal Year 2027.
