WOODLAND HILLS, CALIFORNIA, AUG 7 – Jared Verse collided knees with a teammate during practice and left the field with assistance; coach McVay said the injury severity is currently unknown.
- During Thursday’s practice in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles Rams EDGE Jared Verse had to be helped off the field after trainers aided him when he was down for a little while.
- After colliding with Fiske, Verse remained down on his hands and knees for a prolonged moment before trainers helped him off the field.
- The coaching staff noted that Sean McVay said he isn’t sure how serious the injury is after Verse was down and helped off by trainers.
- Despite next week’s return plan, Verse will not join the joint practice with the Los Angeles Chargers and it’s unclear if he’ll play in Saturday’s preseason opener.
- Looking toward 2025, having Verse healthy will be massive for the Rams’ defensive efforts, especially with the Sept. 7 regular season opener against the Houston Texans approaching.
