No Campfires, Fire Pits Allowed in These GTA Cities Amid Heat Wave

Amid dry conditions, the Town of Ajax suspended all open-air burning and permits Monday, joining at least six GTA cities in burn bans.

Forecasts indicate a cooler air mass arriving Tuesday night will end the heat event, but this is the sixth GTA heat warning this summer and another could be issued later this month.
