The railway in Duisburg is once again blocking one of the most important railway lines in North Rhine-Westphalia. In the next four weeks, travellers will have to improvise - not only in the Ruhr area.

The railway line between Duisburg and Mülheim will be closed for one month from 9.1. 13 lines are affected by regional services – and important ICE connections.

Rail traffic in the Ruhr area will be slowed down again from the evening: no trains run between Duisburg, Essen and Oberhausen for one month. Commuters need patience.

From today there are no trains between Mülheim a. d. Ruhr, Duisburg and Oberhausen for four weeks.
