Kenya: Raila Odinga's First Anniversary to Be Marked With Three Days of Events

NAIROBI, Kenya, Oct. 13 - The first anniversary of the death of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga will be marked with three days of commemorative activities from October 13 to 15, with events planned in Kisumu, Kang'o ka Jaramogi and Bondo.

It is a moment for family, friends, leaders, communities and admirers across the world to stand together to remember a life lived fully in the service of this country and to honour a legacy that continues to shape Kenya today,” Oloo said while announcing the programme.
