Trespass caused around six and a half days of delays to customers across the South Western Railway network last year.
Network Rail says people on the tracks, cable theft and obstruction caused more than 3,300 hours of holdups in total. SWR had the third highest rate of vandalism and obstruction across the network’s 14 routes last year. Drones are being deployed on the Waterloo line with further units planned for Clapham Junction, New Malden and Walton.
