Safe Haven Baby Box in Racine Used for a 2nd Time

Sept. 28, 2026 9:30p (WGTD)---A newborn found to be in good health was turned over to Racine firefighters Sunday via the Safe Haven Baby Box that's mounted on the side of the Washington Ave. fire station.  It's the second time that the box has been used since it was installed two years ago, thanks to a $20,000 donation from the Knights of Columbus.
