The news from British-Canadian writer Rachel Cusk has sparked a number of non-tabloid speculations about whether it is about the actress and whether it actually matters.
For decades, British writer Rachel Cusk has been uncompromisingly writing about identity, motherhood and being a woman, and has repeatedly collected violent hostility. "The life of the M" has now involuntarily ended up in the tabloid press, where the novel is traded as an unfavorable portrait of actress Natalie Portman. But the book goes far beyond that – and has not become Cusk's best.
