Three abandoned rabbits were found last week in the polder in Haarsteeg. The animals were left in a cardboard box inside a Lidl shopping bag. They were soaked, cold, thin, and terrified. Daniëlle from Haarsteeg discovered the rabbits in the rain and took them home. They are young male rabbits, known as rams, about three or four months old. She gave them a place in a dog crate.
