$5.9 million partnership to expand mental health services in Texas

Homeward Bound Inc. has partnered with QuikTrip to expand treatment and recovery services for individuals experiencing substance use disorder and mental illness in North and Far West Texas, with five Rapid Responder teams of mental health specialists providing assistance to those in need.

QuikTrip boosts Homeward Bound's behavioral health response program

The funding from QuikTrip will support five "Rapid Responder" teams of mental health specialists who travel through Dallas and eastern Tarrant County every day to assist people experiencing homelessness, mental health crises or behavioral health emergencies. Nonprofit Homeward Bound says these teams have diverted 600 emergency 911 calls.
