Queen's Roger Taylor announces new album 'Violence Insane In A Beautiful World' along with 2026 UK tour

- Queen drummer Roger Taylor announced his seventh solo album, Violence Insane, set for release via Columbia in September, alongside a short UK tour beginning at Newcastle City Hall.
- Taylor describes the album's underlying theme as reflecting on global turmoil, stating, "It's just horrific, a lot of insane violence," and exploring war, environmental damage, and religious hatred.
- The first single, "Come On Summer ," features The Ndlovu Youth Choir from Limpopo, South Africa. Produced by Taylor, the project includes long-time collaborator Joshua Macrae and his live band.
- Fans pre-ordering the album by 11:59pm on Saturday, June 13 receive exclusive pre-sale access with codes emailed Sunday, June 14. General ticket sales begin at 10am BST on Wednesday, June 17.
- This release arrives nearly 30 years after Queen's latest music, following the band's 15th and final studio record, Made In Heaven, released in 1995 after the death of frontman Freddie Mercury.
