Queen Camilla Visits Wimbledon and Is Joined by Actor Who Played Her Husband
Queen Camilla made her customary visit to the All England Club on Wednesday, marking her fourth consecutive year attending Wimbledon on Day 10, accompanied by her sister, Annabel Elliott.
The Royal Box featured high-profile guests including American actress Elle Fanning and British actor Dominic West, who portrayed King Charles III in the Netflix drama The Crown, alongside the Queen's nephew Peter Phillips and his wife, Harriet Sperling.
Before watching the action, Camilla met safety officer Pete Dobson, who has worked 25 years at the tournament, and press operations member Morag Ranford, who has worked 50 years. Former British number one Heather Watson described the Queen as "super down-to-earth."
Camilla discussed food waste initiatives with Richard Gammage, chief executive of City Harvest, and watched Marta Kostyuk defeat Jasmine Paolini in the first quarterfinal match on Centre Court.
The visit follows Catherine, Princess of Wales, attending Wimbledon last week as patron of the All England Club, continuing the royal family's tradition of prominent attendance at the tournament.
