Quadric Extends Series C to $46M with Second Close led by World Bank's IFC
The round lifts Quadric’s Series C to $46 million and will expand its on-device AI chip platform for automotive, enterprise and robotics customers.
On Monday, July 13, 2026, Burlingame-based Quadric announced a second close of its Series C funding round, bringing the total to $46 million with cumulative capital raised reaching $90 million.
The International Finance Corporation backed Quadric in its first AI chip investment to help emerging markets compete with hyperscalers. Chief Investment Officer Mohamed Eissa said powerful AI cannot remain exclusive to hyperscalers if emerging markets are to close the digital divide.
Quadric's Chimera GPNPU architecture supports locally controlled AI infrastructure. CEO and co-founder Veerbhan Kheterpal said the programmable software stack allows chips to "run new models and get faster long after it ships," preventing silicon from depreciating.
New capital will expand support and go-to-market teams for automotive and enterprise customers while targeting humanoid robotics, wearables, and networking markets. Existing investors Pear VC, Uncork Capital, and BEENEXT increased stakes, joined by new investor Offline Ventures.
Quadric's programmable architecture enables small businesses in emerging markets to deploy AI without costly cloud bills, creating high-value semiconductor talent that helps markets like India compete globally in the AI ecosystem.
