Before leaving Alaska, Vladimir Putin laid flowers at the graves of Soviet soldiers at Fort Richardson Cemetery. The Kremlin says the graves commemorate Soviet pilots and sailors who died during World War II while delivering American equipment to the Soviet Union.
He visited the site after his statements with Trump, during which he thanked the US for taking care of the site.
