Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday that assets of Western companies seized by Moscow in Russia are frozen and could possibly be returned.
"We're not taking anything from anyone, we're not stealing anything and we're not nationalizing anything," Putin said.
The Russian President also found it "absolutely unacceptable" that European countries had frozen the Russian Central Bank's gold and foreign exchange assets on their territories "to finance" Ukraine.
