The Executive approved the bill on the public budget for 2027, which provides for S/266 506 million and an increase of 3.5% compared to the initial budget of 2026.
The session will take place from 10 a.m. with the participation of Premier Luis Galarreta and the Minister of Economy, Elmer Cuba. Both will present the initiatives on public spending, financing and balance of state accounts.

The draft Public Sector Budget Law for Fiscal Year 2027 is already on the Congress portal. The plenary session was convened on Thursday, September 3, to discuss, together with this initiative, the financial balance and debt projects submitted by the Executive.
