According to the elements that fled, Charles Alloncle would recommend in his report on public audiovisual a massive reduction in the budget devoted to games and entertainment on France Télévisions. But during the hearings, several came to defend these programs, such as Nagui or Samuel Etienne.
The public audiovisual sector is at the heart of a report calling for savings of more than EUR 1 billion. Abolitions of channels, mergers and the return of presidential power on appointments are already controversial in the Assembly.
The report and its recommendations must be put to the vote of the 30 Members of the Committee of Inquiry on Monday, after more than four months of work, and a favourable vote is needed for the report to be made public a week later.
