After the announced withdrawal from the role of the first insurer, the Insurtech Getsafe has found a potential new risk bearer for its contracts: the provincial is to act as an insurer in the background in the future.
After Getsafe returned its BaFin insurance license in June 2025, the Provincial now appears to be ready as a new risk bearer for 400,000 existing policies.
