Wolf Killed in Defense of Livestock, Property, Union County - Elkhorn Media Group

UNION COUNTY — (Release from the Union County Sheriff’s Office) A collared female wolf was shot and killed in defense of livestock by the landowner earlier this month. The wolf was within 40 yards of the landowner’s residence.  The Oregon State Police, Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife, and Union County Sheriff Cody Bowen responded to the incident and a full investigation was completed.
