Government announces additional Moose Fencing
More moose fencing will be constructed near Salmonier Line later this year. The province has announced approximately $1 million for additional moose fencing for an additional 5.5 kilometres along the Trans-Canada Highway. Province Expanding Moose Fencing Near Avondale Access Road
The provincial government has issued a tender for more moose fencing along the Trans-Canada. About $1-million has been set aside to erect 5.5 kilometers of fencing, which will be an extension of work completed last year near Salmonier Line. The online tender indicates the new section of fencing will go to near the Avondale Access Road. The work is expected to begin later this year.
