President Droupadi Murmu hailed Indian athletes for an exceptional Asian Games campaign, saying that the "hard work, skill and perseverance of our athletes have brought great honour to the nation". Posting on X, Murmu wrote, "The Asian Games 2026 have witnessed outstanding performances of our athletes. The nation is proud of every member of the Indian contingent who represented Bharat with dedication and commitment. The hard work, skill and perseverance of our athletes have brought great honour to the nation.
